Ashley Jones

Ashley Aubra Jones is an American actress from the United States. Her most well-known roles include soap opera roles, including Megan Dennison (The Young and the Restless) as well as Bridget Forrester (The Bold and the Beautiful). On the HBO drama True Blood, she played her character Daphne. Ashley Jones received a Bachelor of Human Learning for K-8 at the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1997. Within Maury County, she began teaching Kindergarten and First Grade Reading. She got married Brent Jones, her UT Martin love and moved into Thompsons Station in 1998. Bethesda Elementary was where she first taught the fourth grade. Between 1999 and 2000 she continued teaching, while completing her Master of Instruction at Trevecca Nazarene University. In 2000 she stepped back from the classroom after welcoming their son, the oldest of them Baylor. Ashley's focus over the last 15 years has been on growing children in her church as well as the surrounding community. She also serves as a volunteer in different roles. Ashley is the leader of the Preschool Ministry for Thompson Station Church in various positions for over 13 years. Ashley's kids were educated at home during the three years she spent in her the home. During their home schooling years they attended a family school-based tutorial, where Ashley was also a teacher of History in Kindergarten and 1st Grade. God was clearly showing her and their family the importance of returning to the school. While Ashley was a fan of homeschooling, she also loved being with her five children. Brent and Ashley each have five kids. Silas Eliza and Cruz are all at GCA. Baylor is a GCA graduate is a student at playing baseball in UT Martin. Callan is another GCA graduate, is enrolled at Western Kentucky University. The family is busy, and they love fishing, hunting and encouraging one another to succeed in their sports and other activities.
