Maureen was born in Ranelagh which was a suburb in Dublin - Ireland, on 17 August 1920. Marguerita LIlburn FitzSimons is her mother. She was an accomplished contralto. The father of her, Charles FitzSimons, managed a business in Dublin and was also the owner of the famous Irish soccer team "The Shamrock Rovers." Maureen FitzSimons placed 2nd in the family of six FitzSimons. Peggy FitzSimons Florrie Charles B. Fitzsimons Margot Fitzsimons James O'Hara rounded off the gorgeous family.
